My Story
I used to think that home businesses were a waste of time, until I handed in my resignation for my full time job!!!!
Like most women who find out they're pregnant I started figuring out what I was going to do for work once my baby was born. I was a chiropractor by trade and had gone back to study medicine so my plate was pretty full already. I knew I wanted to be at home with my baby and have more family time.
I searched for a while for ideas and had been watching my friends' growing success after starting this "Scentsy" business and having a great time. I researched for a while into it, looking for all the reasons not to proceed, but eventually I decided that I should try it.That has become one of the best decisions I have made for my growing family!
Since I started in Feb 2014 I have -promoted to one of the founding Directors in Australia -quit my job to work at home full time,
-earned 4 all expenses paid trip overseas in 2015,2016 and 2017 -made so many new friends!
-Earned a heap of awards
-a growing team of consultants in Australia and Internationally -gained so much more than just a business!
-learnt amazing leadership skills!
I'm currently married to a wonderful husband with two beautiful step children and my 2 little girls!
I loved the idea behind the safe, flameless and wickless warmers to make your home smell beautiful. I love amazing fragrances so the ability to sell safe scented products was very enticing.
It's wonderful being able to work your own hours in a company that's very supportive and you can be so flexible with how you run your business. I am loving helping other people to do the same and be able to work from home and spend more time with their family and pursue their dreams.
I'm looking forward to what 2017 brings with Scentsy and all the new people I will meet through this business and the places I will go with my team!
